Jessica Vredenburg, PhD

I am originally from Calgary, Canada and a graduate of University of Calgary’s Faculty of Kinesiology (ranked top sport science school in North America), where I completed both a BSc and MSc in Mind Sciences and Sport Psychology. I went on to work as a community events & marketing manager with Lululemon, where I realized how fun it could be to combine my passion for sport and wellness with business and marketing.

I went on to pursue a PhD in Marketing at the University of Melbourne and called Australia home for almost 6 years. After completing my doctorate in 2014 I worked as a Lecturer at the University of Melbourne before making the move ‘across the ditch’ in 2016.

I am now a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Auckland University of Technology, honourary kiwi, and permanent resident of this beautiful country!
